It's official.
I’ll be the second shooter for a wedding come June.
This will be my first wedding in years. It’s February and I am already nervous.
But hey, let’s see where this goes….
Struggling
So I am struggling with this month’s challenge - Low Light with No Flash
I am hoping to get out to take some pictures this coming weekend.
So…….what do you guys want to see? Any items or subjects of interest?
Decisions
A friend of mine that has a photography business recently realized she’d booked a wedding the same weekend her husband is unavailable to be her #2 photographer - so she asked me.
She said she would throw a cut of the profits my way, allow me to use anything I shot in my portfolio and even provide a sitter for Audrey if needed (her son is 14).

New Year - New Challenge
So keeping up with a picture a day (AND work AND a marriage AND a toddler) was a little difficult. But I love the idea of challenging myself and, hopefully, bettering my photography skills. It’s hard to stay positive. Hard to believe that I should keep trying - that what I am doing is actually good.
I take a cute picture of my daughter and it gets a bunch of comments/notes. I take a selection of pictures of the Milwaukee Art Museum that I think came out pretty good…and I barely get any feedback.
Where do I draw the line between feedback and self-assurance?
